FA Cup Final: Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

Awesome! What an impressive match! Magnificent display of skills by the Chelsea players, especially by Didier Drogba, being the Man of the Match and the sole goal scorer!

Despite loads of injuries, Chelsea managed to overcome them and defeat the newly crowned EPL Champions, Manchester United. No doubt United has many injuries too but Chelsea's ones seem worse. To have to play without Michael Ballack, Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole, Arjen Robben (though he loses the ball all the time) and Andriy Shevchenko, that's a terrible blow! Oh, not forgetting almost wanting to play Hilario as a substitute striker! HAHA, that is such a joke! Mourinho sure knows how to scare the crap out of all the Blues supporters!

Chelsea’s line-up: (4-3-3)
Petr Cech (Goalkeeper)
As always, Cech never did disappoint the Chelsea fans! He kept a clean sheet and that was fabulous! Think, you need to stop people like Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo, that’s definitely not an easy job! Kudos to him!

Paulo Ferreira (Right-back)
This guy is always under-rated and it’s finally his time to shine! He did such a great job to stop fellow country man, Ronaldo, from attacking into the penalty area thus declining chances for Manchester United to score! He is good, don’t write him off!

Michael Essien (Central Defender)
Player of the Year 2007 for Chelsea. What more have you to say about him? So versatile and has the awesome ability to be a midfielder, central defender and even right-back! He is absolutely worthy of the award, without a doubt! Anyway, he made many saves and defended tightly. You go, dude!

John Terry (Central Defender) (Captain)
The most reputable Captain of the Blues as well as the leader of the England squad. The JT we’ve always known is back, finally! Massive heads-away by him secured the defence line and helped immensely in the clean sheet of the night! Al’ hail!

Wayne Bridge (Left-back)
A substitute for the best left-back in the world, Ashley Cole. Despite being second to the ever-so-hot Ash, he performed very well and did not let the fans down. Great tackles and that totally stopped the attacks by United from coming. Good job, Bridgey!

Claude Makelele (Holding Midfielder)
Aged at 34 years old yet still able to tackle accurately and hold out for the whole 120 minutes, please have nothing but praises for him! Him in the squad really makes a difference and solidifies the defence. He goes forward occasionally but remembers to backward when he’s needed. All the way, Maka!

John Obi Mikel (Left Midfielder)
Just presented with the best Young Comer Award for Chelsea, he proved his worth during the match. In spite of a hamstring injury just a week ago against Everton at Home, he managed to recovered as soon and as well as he could, thus able to be part of the first 11. He did his job, and actually even better, to contribute to the team. And that’s maybe why I am starting to like him more. HAHA.

FRANK LAMPARD (Right Midfielder)
Newpaper mentions: Once more shouldered the burden in midfield and was Chelsea’s driving force for much of the match. Rate 7/10.
Despite having much speculation on his future in Chelsea, he put these shit at the back of his mind and played his best for the team. The vital assist to Drogba secured the only goal of the game at the 116th minute which brought Chelsea to their first FA Cup victory under Jose Mourinho. He kept his cool, did not rush his steps, passed the ball to Drogba and there, GOAL! Much credit to him, without a doubt! However, the only disappointment was him not scoring despite having one on-target and two off. He tried his best, he tried, he tried but just not enough to score his 22nd goal of the 06/07 season! Never mind, he will be back with more for the next season! Have faith in the hottest man! LOVE YOU, MY NUMBER EIGHT! <3

Shaun Wright-Phillips (Left Forward)
Not his best game of the season and definitely a fairly bad performance as compared to the one against West Ham United. Well, at least he managed to hold out for the full 90 minutes. Wrighty, not bad after all!

Didier Drogba (Central Forward)
His 33rd goal of the season and that brought Chelsea to victory over Manchester United! The first player of Chelsea to score at the New Wembley! Awesome, nothing but praises and smiles for him! Cool-headed and hardly or maybe not a single offside last night! Commendable, totally! You rocked the house, Elephant!

Joe Cole (Right Forward)
He got guarded super intensely by the United defence thus unable to shoot, let alone score. However, his spirit is damn commendable as he was injured before hand but still tried his best for the team. Unfortunately, he had to be substituted out at half-time for winger, Arjen Robben. Coley, you’re the best potato!

Arjen Robben (Substitute for Joe Cole)
He was the catalyst of the team upon substitution. Sorry for scolding him most of the time but he did a good job last night! At least he managed to bring the ball super forward and helped terrorize United’s defence.

Soloman Kalou (Substitute for Shaun Wright-Phillips)
Small elephant, hardly visible during the match actually. Guess he did well?

Ashley Cole (Substitute for Arjen Robben)
Still injured but still wanted to try his best the team. He managed to head away a couple of shot which made Chelsea’s defence look even more impressive. Ash, you hottie!

The match was a fabulous one, especially when Chelsea came up as the winners! Superb team spirit and high percentage passes, crosses and tackles! If such a team does not win, I can’t imagine another lifting the trophy.

Didier Drogba said, “I want to join my friends, please.. “ when being interviewed. Stupid interviewer, just let him go celebrate with his favourite Frankie lah! HAHAHA.

Eh, no no, Frankie should be celebrating with JT! Like finally, I got to see JT lift the trophy and see the invincible duo celebrate so happily after eons! Perhaps it’s cause neither of them has been scoring thus no celebration involved. By the way, Frankie’s last and 21st goal was the one against Blackburn Rovers during the FA Cup Semi-finals while JT’s first and last goal was against Fulham which happened to be the first EPL match of the season. Anyhow, those do not matter. At least after JT lifted the trophy, he and Frankie hugged and all! Aww, so sweet! Oh, not forgetting Frankie lifting the trophy’s lid jumping so happily with JT who had the trophy is his hands! Such a beautiful sight, lovely!

Cannot imagine days without Frankie Live on ESPN or Starsports weekly. Such days would at least last for two to three months, other than boring International games. And no more Big Match Countdown with Bill Blood and his silly jokes! Ahh, life is going to be even more boring when it is bad enough! ):

Cannot wait for the next season, 2007/2008 when Chelsea will retain both Carling Cup and FA Cup titles and winning the EPL title back from Manchester United! I have yet to see JT lift the EPL trophy and see Chelsea celebrate.

Eh, before talking about the next season, we got to confirm everyone is staying at the club!

1) Frankie Lampard #8
Ask that damn Roman Abramovich to raise your salary so you will stay in the club! I want you in blue all your life till you retire! Cannot imagine you somewhere else!

2) John Terry #26
You are the Captain, why can’t stupid Abramovich just raise your pay! Your contributions are so great, money cannot be used to measure! Stay in Chelsea then Frankie will too! Happily together, won’t it be awesome!

3) Arjen Robben #16
Lousy, though you are rather lousy, I’d still prefer you to be in Chelsea, if not, I won’t have anyone to suan! HAHA. No lah, you are good, at least you scored 4 goals and 2 against Wigan! We need you!

Chelsea Chelsea
We’re gonna make this a blue day

We did make it a blue day!

Three cheers, Hip Hip Hurray!

Come on the Chels!
