Need I say more?
Just check out the colleges below!
This time, two of them on the match against Liverpool.
Why so?
Too much to say?
Yes, of course!
Too much to praise?
Yes, of course, to praise the boys in blue!
Too much to diss?
Yes, of course, to diss the old men in red!
There is definitely something great and special about Chelsea's medical team! Once again, they managed to treat Ricardo Carvalho in time thus allowing him to participate in the 1st Leg at Home. He is so important, so great it is beyond words to say so.
With him at the back with JT, it was so much more relaxing for me to watch. I did not need to worry if Michael Essien were to play, would he score an own goal or something. Haha. Anyway, yes, he had great tackles and was simply remarkable! Sometimes, or rather, currently, I really think that he is much better than JT. (Sorry, JT!)
He was rated 8/10 by the Newpaper. Good job, Riccy!
Michael Essien was not involved in the match due to a one-match ban, thanks to the three yellow cards he had received. Not that bad, really, though he was missed quite a fair bit in the midfield's diamond. He is ever so versatile! Fortunately, he would be back for the 2nd Leg at Anfield so it is not that bad!
Another Michael, Michael Ballack, was not involved in the match too due to an injury inflicted by Newcastle's Titus Bramble. What an idiot to injure the German Captain! But it's reported that Ballack maybe able to play the game against Bolton Wanderers at Home this weekend. We pray he can!
Didier Drogba was magnificent last night! He seriously managed to terrorize the Liverpool defence and assisted in Joe Cole's goal, also his first one in the Champions League! Despite a couple of trips here and there, he managed to stand up right away and continue playing. Kudos to him, for sure!
He was rated 8/10 and 9/10 by the Newpaper! Great scores!
Joe Cole's comments on the Newpaper were quite unfair to him as they said: On par with Arjen Robben in terms of ability. No, I disagree. He is much better than Robben. Haha, sorry Robben! Well, at least Coley won't miss easy shots and won't lose the balls during his runs!
He was rated 8/10 by the Newpaper.
Always keep the best to the last. Of course, Mr Frankie Lampard! He played a great game though did not manage to score. It was most unfortunate that the fugly potato, Reina, had to save both his shots! If they were to find the back of the net, they would have been remarkable goals! Damn, who allowed him to save?! Anyway, Frankie's performance last night was marvellous as compared to his recent ones so credits to him!
He was so oftenly compared with Steven Gerrard but did it matter? No, hell no! He proved his worth and came up on top and played a much better game than that 57-just-turned-67-year old! I certainly hope Frankie will be able to score against Liverpool in the next leg and bring Chelsea to their first ever Champions League Finals! Who needs to be a national hero? A Club hero is good too!
He was rated 7/10 and 8/10 by the Newpaper and comments were: Better performance than in recent games. Unlucky not to find the net. / Threatened on several occasions.
Statistics show that Chelsea had much less time with the ball but did it matter? Answer, no. Chelsea had possession of the ball for 45% of the game while Liverpool had the rest. Urm, duh. Anyway, what's the point of holding on to the ball for so long and not able to score? The score is the most important thing in a game, who cares about the possession? Of course, you need possession but you don't score so heck that!
No yellow cards from Chelsea this time round. I am so proud of them! Well, more importantly, because Diarra did not play, that's why! He is on two yellows, one more and it'll be suspension for the 2nd Leg. It's no wonder why Jose Mourinho rested him and played Paulo Ferreira. Some Chelsea fans commented that it would not be a good choice to play Ferreira but I'm sure his performance last night proved them wrong. He played a decently well game and managed to stop the Liverpool players quite a few times. His performance was commentable and was rated 7/10 by the Newpaper.
How could I forget what Xabi Alonso from Liverpool said? What a big fat moron with bad hair to say such big words! He said that he did not understand why Liverpool has not been performing well at The Bridge. So simple, because you're simply suck! Why ask such a stupid and senseless question when the answer is so obvious?!
Alonso, so have you swallowed and get choked on your words?! I hope you have.
Chelsea is currently still three points short of Manchester United but still in the run of chasing the third and back-to-back EPL title!
Against Bolton Wanderers at Home, WIN.
Against Arsenal Away, WIN.
Against Manchester United at Home, WIN.
Against Everton at Home, WIN.
Come on the Chels, I know you can do it!
Have great faith, cheeeeeers!
