All to a closure
Everything has ended

Good Morning, Everyone.
I do not know why I am up so early.
Well, I woke up with a wet pillow.
This sounds so corny but yes, it is true.

Yesterday, 28th April 2006, marks the last day of my Secondary Table Tennis career.
It ended off with a Silver.
It ended off with tears.
It ended off at Toa Payoh Sports Hall.

St Nicholas Table Tennis Team 2006 emerged 2nd for the Inter-school Nationals.
We were defeated by Raffles Girls' School 2-3.
1st Singles: Yan Zhen won Jia Lei 3-0
1st Doubles: Amy & Yu Shi lost to Wan Xiu & Wen Yi 0-3
2nd Singles: Florence lost to Hui Qi 1-3
2nd Doubles: Xinjin & I won Wei Ming & Ying Hui 3-0
3rd Singles: Jasmine lost to Sandra 1-3

Despite losing, I am very proud of my team !
Just look at the team spirit !
If I were to grade it upon 10, I would give it 11/10 !
Seriously, we were literally screaming our lungs out !
Imagine, 3/4 of the hall screaming against you !
Wow, that was not really an encouraging thing huh ?
Also, not forgetting the three classes which came down to support.
They were most enthusiastic and very damn loud in cheering !
Thank You loads !

Xinjin and I ended off our Secondary Table Tennis life with a beautiful win.
That match was the 'fiercest' match I've ever played.
Not in terms of smacking non-stop or 'la'-ing non-stop but in terms of screaming and punching into the air to signify victory !
The hall was so noisy yet I had to overcome the noise to scream.
Oh my, how the hell did I do that ? HAHA
And indeed, that contributed to my already sored throat.

Let me share some highlights of the match.
All right, this sounds so self-praising but who cares ?

1st set:
When the score was 1-1, I was recieving services, then I tyco-ed twice.
Twice and both hit the edge of the table.

2nd set:
There was a very long rally-ed ball and it ended off with my smash !
It was really crazy, I swear !
You attack, I defend; You corner me, I corner you back.
Then the ball got higher and higher..
Xinjin attacked, the ball came back high so I whacked it down !
Honestly, I was so afraid I might have smacked it out.
Fortunately and Thank God, I didn't.

3rd set:
Xinjin and I were leading 10-6.
Yes, one more measly point to V-V-VIC-T-T-TOR-O-O-ORY !
Xinjin wanted to end it off nicely with a smash or something so she attacked with backhand but it went out.
Next, I also wanted to end it off beautifully with a 'la' down the line but the ball touched the net and fell back to my court.
Then, the score was 10-8, no need for any attacking, one of the opponents hit the ball out.

So after our match, it was down to the decider match, 3rd Singles.
Jasmine displayed magnificent skills, no doubt about that !
The pressure was so intensed, so killing !
Being able to keep her cool and win each point were really crazy !
It was all right to lose for she will be a better player after that ?
You know, only through losses can you be a better player !
Cheer Up, Junior ! :)

To Xinjin:
My all-time & 4 years & Gay partner ! Oh my, time really really flies. It seems so yesterday, as though we have just gotten into the team, trying out Doubles pairing and all. It seems so yesterday that we had just clinched Gold in year 2004. It seems so yesterday that I was still throwing my bad whenever I lose a point or something, haha. And it seems to yesterday that we were still cheering and merrying about our win over Cedar Girls' on 6th April 2006's Semi-Finals, therefore entering Top 2.
I really don't know what to say but I am definitely glad that I have you as my partner. We stuck together from the start all the way to the end. The first ever match we partnered, all the way to yesterday which was the last match. It seems really crazy, all those that we have gone through. Winning and also, losing to those detestable long-pimpled etc.
The times, most of the time up and sometimes, down. You saw me cry and vice versa. I still remember you telling me that you had no feelings after losing. You Idiot, that made me cry even more lah, Thank You ! Hahaha !
Long-winded, I am getting older. I don't know what more to say but I LOVE YOU ! (:

To Florence:
Sista ! You can be so noisy and irritating at times when I really wanted to kill you ! Hahaha, I was just kidding ! I know one thing for sure that I will miss you after leaving this team. You know, I really don't know what to say to you. The days at Taiwan were great and you choking on a fish bone. Man, that was unbelievable ! Well well, you are so going to be the next Captain so bring it on and lead the team to victory and glory ! If I were to come back next year to support, I hope to see you bring your fellow juniors to greater heights and able to pronounce words more clearly ! Haha !
Okay okay, you played well during this whole season but just unfortunate that you met all the tough-nuts-to-crack opponents. Train hard and be the nut which is tough to crack by others. You know you can do it ! (:

To Yu Shi:
Remember what I told you. It is really okay to lose. I mean, in a game, there will always be a winner and a loser. You know you have put in your best and tried hard enough so no one will and have the rights to blame you. They (HMM) can say we suck but who the hell cares ? The mouths are theirs', say what they wish. We are all a winner at heart so do not take this defeat so greatly and move on ! You still have one more year to go, take the Gold back ! (:

To Amy:
After so many years, I guess, this is the time when we spoke more and all. Haha, thanks to Freaky and her Ai Ai ! Lol, this is so corny, I swear ! It was most unfortunate that you were down with Chicken Pox during the Nationals. You are strong and managed to come back with full force ! So many ups and downs for you yet you are able to overcome them ! Kudos to you ! As much as I hate long-pimple, I must say that you use it really well. Hmm, so use it wisely ! Haha !
Never mind that you lost during the Finals because as what I've told Yu Shi, in a game, there will always be a winner and a loser. It so happened you're didn't perfrom as well and it was definitely unavoidable. Just check out the level of noise, it was to the maximum ! You will win in the future, the day will come ! (:

Other matches played yesterday.
A Division Boys: Raffles JC defeated Hwa Chong Institution
A Division Girls: Raffles JC defeated Victoria JC
B Division Boys: Maris Stella High School defeated St Joseph Institution

Both SNTT and SJITT lost.
Well, my second birthday wish did not come true.
Sighs oh sighs, I am sad. ):

Oh no, I didn't say 'Hi'
Oh yes, I saw you
Oh no, I didn't see you
Oh yes yes, I spoke to you

HAHAHAHAHA ! :D :D :D

On a lighter note, Green House emerged Champion !
I was not there to support and all but I am very proud of them !
