we are sad because we have lost the last leg of the race.
we are not sad because we know we have tried our best.
we will not be disappointed because we did what we could.
we will be happy, in fact, as the class' support was priceless !

in the beginnging, cheers, laughters, smiles.
in the midst, tension built, nervousness crept in.
in the end, tears rolled.

even if we had lost in the Finals of the Secondary Four Debate Finals, i am still glad that we have made this far.
of course, without the class' support, we'll not be able to come this far.
the debators, including me, though Reserve, we really appreciate the overwhelming support from y'll ! (:
truly, the signboards of G, O, 4, U, N, I, T, Y, ! were magnificent ! :D
the cheers led by ME, HAHA, were great too !
damn, i really enjoyed every moment of the debate !

in a game, there is always a winner and a loser.
the stronger team wins.
this is always the saddest fact when it comes to a contest, competition or whatever.
we know we have fought hard, perservered on for as long as one full month.
please, do not let this defeat pull us down.
come back strong from this and take it as a new experience.
having to reach the Finals, to me, is already a remarkable journey.
being able to win two classes in the Preliminary rounds, that's really .. beyond words. (:
really, do not let this affect us, all right !

Eliza, Hueiminn & Sonia: my dears, please do not be so upset about it already, okay ? sometimes, things just do not go our ways and that's really nothing we can do. well, at least we've come soooo far ! i know this means a lot to us, especially to Mrs Chan also but well .. i don't exactly know what to say but let's moveeeeee on ! we should really be happy that many people supported us all along. the win is not the most important thing, it's the friendship, the bond, the UNITY we've built indirectly through this competition. as cliche as it may sound, it is counted as a blessing in disguise ? lighten up, okay ! it's always nice to see a smile on your guys' faces ! andddddd, you three must laugh at my jokes, LOL ! don't brood over the outcome, think about the process. the night when you three stayed over.. the chocolate cake, phototaking, playing with Goldie, laughing, smiles, everything ! let it go, we'll be a stronger person after this ! LOVE.
